According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Equipment/Trailer Safety portion of the initial training takes place at Boulder Designs' headquarters in Waco, TX, or at another site that they may designate. This training is part of Day 5 of the initial training program and consists of 1 hour of classroom training.

Prospective franchisees should note that Boulder Designs' initial training program is designed to cover all material aspects of operating a Boulder Designs business. The initial training program is approximately five business days. Franchisees must complete the training program to Boulder Designs' satisfaction before beginning operations.

Boulder Designs also offers re-boot training, refresher training, and annual training at the National or Regional Convention. Franchisees may be charged a fee for re-boot training under certain circumstances. Attendance is mandatory at the annual training, and non-attendance incurs a fee of $795.
