What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Boulder Designs' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use the QuickBooks accounting system. Boulder Designs has a direct agreement with Intuit, the manufacturer of QuickBooks, allowing franchisees to purchase the software through a specially prepared Intuit website.
The FDD states that Intuit sets the pricing, not Boulder Designs. As of the FDD date, the pricing options for QuickBooks are $40 per month for the online version, or a one-time payment of $139.96 for a single-user QuickBooks Pro license. A three-user license costs $384.96.
Additionally, a QuickBooks learning CD is available for $29.97 through Boulder Designs' Intuit website for those who do not currently use QuickBooks.
