What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'System' is defined as the company's proprietary, confidential, and trade secret information. This encompasses several key elements that a franchisee must adhere to in operating their Bor Restoration business.
The 'System' includes the brand's trademarks, service marks, and logos, ensuring consistent brand representation. It also covers the specific training methods provided to franchisees, the operational manuals (in both paper and electronic formats), and the standards and procedures necessary for day-to-day business operations. Bor Restoration retains the right to modify these manuals through electronic or paper notices, including email and texts.
Furthermore, the 'System' extends to all copyrighted, trade secret, or confidential information owned by Bor Restoration, including the Franchise Disclosure Document itself, the Franchise Agreement, and the Franchisee Manuals. Franchisees are obligated to operate under this established 'System'. The exclusive territory rights, client information, and the right to offer services as defined in the Franchise Agreement are also considered the sole and exclusive property of Bor Restoration.
