What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate a 'Business Vehicle' that meets specific criteria. This vehicle can be either a late-model truck, such as a one-quarter-ton pickup or equivalent, along with a fourteen-foot enclosed trailer, or a fourteen-foot enclosed box truck. The franchisee can either purchase or lease the Business Vehicle.
The Business Vehicle can be used, but it cannot be older than ten years from the franchise agreement's effective date. The vehicle must be free of body damage and rust and must be bright white. Bor Restoration also mandates that the Business Vehicle be wrapped with an approved package from an approved vendor.
Franchisees are responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity and appearance of the Business Vehicle. Bor Restoration retains the right to require a franchisee to replace the Business Vehicle if it exceeds ten years of age or if Bor Restoration determines, using its 'Reasonable Business Judgment,' that the vehicle has not been properly maintained. Additionally, the franchisee must properly title, license, and insure the Business Vehicle as required by Bor Restoration.
