What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the advertising for both national and regional programs can be produced either by a local, national, or international advertising agency or directly by Bor Restoration itself. For regional advertising, if a Regional Advertising Cooperative is formed, the advertising will be prepared by a local, national, or international advertising agency or by Bor Restoration.
This means that franchisees may not have direct control over the specific advertising content used in national or regional campaigns, as the franchisor or a selected agency will handle the creative aspects. However, Bor Restoration notes that any company-owned businesses will participate in national or regional advertising programs on the same basis as franchisee-owned businesses.
For local advertising, Bor Restoration retains the right to approve all advertising materials before they are used, including search engine and social media advertising. Franchisees must submit proposed advertising at least 15 calendar days before its intended use, and disapproval is assumed if no written notice is received within that timeframe. This ensures that all advertising aligns with the brand's standards and messaging.
