What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate a "Business Vehicle," defined as a late-model truck (such as a one-quarter-ton pickup or equivalent) and a fourteen-foot enclosed trailer, or a fourteen-foot enclosed box truck. The vehicle can be purchased or leased and may be used, but it cannot be more than ten years old from the Franchise Agreement's effective date. The Business Vehicle must be free of body damage and rust and must be bright white.
Bor Restoration requires that the Business Vehicle be wrapped with an approved package from an approved vendor. Franchisees must maintain the mechanical integrity and appearance of the Business Vehicle. If the vehicle is over ten years old or not properly maintained, Bor Restoration may require the franchisee to replace it with a current Business Vehicle.
Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for properly titling and licensing the Business Vehicle and maintaining the required insurance coverage as specified in Article 17 of the Franchise Agreement. These requirements ensure that the Bor Restoration brand is represented by well-maintained and visually consistent vehicles, protecting the brand's image and ensuring operational reliability.
