What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Client Service Fee is due when Bor Restoration directly services a client due to a franchisee complaint. Specifically, if a client complains to Bor Restoration, and Bor Restoration reasonably determines it is necessary to service the client directly, the franchisee must reimburse Bor Restoration for all costs and pay their daily Client Service Fee.

Bor Restoration retains the right to increase the Client Service Fee by any amount without limitation. However, Bor Restoration will notify franchisees 60 days before a new fee is to be collected. This advance notice provides franchisees with some visibility into potential cost increases.

This policy could impact a franchisee if client complaints arise, potentially leading to unexpected expenses. Franchisees should strive to resolve client issues independently to avoid Bor Restoration stepping in and incurring these fees. Understanding the circumstances that might trigger this fee is crucial for managing operational costs and maintaining a positive relationship with the franchisor.
