What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bor Restoration may charge an additional training fee for refresher courses. Specifically, if a franchisee requests additional, extraordinary, or refresher courses or training, or if Bor Restoration requires the franchisee to take them, Bor Restoration has the option to charge its then-current Additional Training Fee. In addition to the training fee, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, and food expenses associated with the training.
This policy means that franchisees should budget for potential additional training costs beyond the initial training. The cost of these refresher courses is not fixed, as it depends on Bor Restoration's "then-current Additional Training Fee." Therefore, franchisees should inquire about the current fee schedule for additional training to better understand potential expenses.
This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors often provide ongoing training and support, but may charge additional fees for specialized or refresher courses. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these potential costs when evaluating the overall investment required for a Bor Restoration franchise.
