What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Bor Restoration's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bor Restoration assigns an "Exclusive Territory" to franchisees before they open their business. The FDD also mentions that the franchisee's Franchised Location, which is anticipated and expected to be the franchisee's home, must be located in their Exclusive Territory.
This means that as a Bor Restoration franchisee, you will be granted a specific geographic area in which you will be the only franchisee allowed to operate. This exclusivity can be a significant benefit, as it reduces direct competition from other Bor Restoration franchisees and allows you to focus your marketing and sales efforts within your designated area. The agreement specifies that your home, from which you will operate, must be within this territory.
Item 12 and Article 1 of the Franchise Agreement further define the terms and conditions of the Exclusive Territory. A prospective franchisee should carefully review these sections to understand the exact boundaries of their territory, any exceptions to the exclusivity, and the franchisor's rights to modify the territory. Understanding these details is crucial for assessing the potential market and competition within the assigned area.
