How is the Technology Fee for Bonchon calculated?

- [3] If we or our affiliates develop new, modified, or additional digital or other technological
applications for use by the franchised Business, such as (but not limited to) a new online ordering app, or if we or our affiliates provide upgraded or new software or hardware for use by the franchised Business, we reserve the right to require you to utilize such technology and to charge you a fee in connection with same. The Technology Fee will either be an absolute dollar amount/cent amount per customer transaction or a percentage of your Gross Revenues, but in no event will be greater than one percent (1.0%) of Gross Revenues of the previous month.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Technology Fee calculation is based on the implementation of new or upgraded digital technologies. If Bonchon or its affiliates develop new, modified, or additional digital or other technological applications, such as a new online ordering app, or provide upgraded or new software or hardware for use by the franchised Business, Bonchon reserves the right to require franchisees to utilize such technology and to charge a fee in connection with it.
The Technology Fee will be either a specific dollar or cent amount per customer transaction or a percentage of the Gross Revenues.
However, the Technology Fee will not be greater than one percent (1.0%) of Gross Revenues of the previous month. This provides a cap on the fee, ensuring it does not exceed a certain percentage of the franchisee's monthly revenue.
