What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Agreement Rider regarding the Development Incentive Program, the start date of the Franchise Agreement is the date listed on the agreement. The Franchise Agreement Rider supplements and amends the Franchise Agreement, and is dated and effective as of the date of execution of the Franchise Agreement.
Specifically, the rider states that it supplements and amends that certain Franchise Agreement, dated as of (the "Franchise Agreement"), between Bonchon Franchise LLC ("Franchisor") and ("Franchisee"). The rider is incorporated into the Franchise Agreement and is dated and effective as of the date of execution of the Franchise Agreement.
This means that the Franchise Agreement officially begins on the date it is signed. This date is important because it marks the commencement of the franchisee's rights and obligations under the agreement, including the payment of fees, adherence to Bonchon's operational standards, and the timeline for opening the restaurant. The rider itself becomes an integral part of the Franchise Agreement from this date forward, with its terms taking precedence in case of any conflicts with the original agreement.
