What specific items with the Bonchon logo must a franchisee purchase from designated sources?

Bonchon Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You must purchase proprietary and other designated products (currently Bonchon logoed packaging items, logo-imprinted paper goods, cooking utensils, sweet sugar, brushes, and our proprietary sauces, seasonings and spice blends) from the source that we designate. Currently, our designated supplier, Sysco Foodservice, is the only approved supplier of our (i) proprietary sauce (including any "limited time only sauce" that we may promote from time to time) and (ii) Bonchon logoed packaging items, but we may change the designated supplier(s) of our proprietary sauce and logoed packaging items from time to time in our Confidential Operations Manual. Bonchon LLC is currently the only approved supplier of the other designated products you are required to purchase.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase Bonchon logoed packaging items and logo-imprinted paper goods from designated sources. Currently, Sysco Foodservice is the only approved supplier of Bonchon logoed packaging items. However, Bonchon may change the designated supplier of these items in the future, as indicated in their Confidential Operations Manual.

In addition to logoed items, franchisees must also purchase other designated products from specific sources. These include cooking utensils, sweet sugar, brushes, and Bonchon's proprietary sauces, seasonings, and spice blends. Bonchon LLC is currently the only approved supplier for these other designated products.

This requirement ensures brand consistency across all Bonchon franchise locations. Franchisees should be aware that these designated supplier relationships can change, potentially impacting costs and supply chains. It is important for prospective franchisees to stay informed about any updates to the list of approved suppliers and the products they are required to purchase from them.
