What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the relationship between Stripe and a Bonchon franchisee is not mentioned. The document includes information about the franchise agreement, fees, royalties, and related-party transactions, but it does not specify any role for Stripe or other payment processing services. The FDD does mention Yoobic Inc. as a supplier who provides software applications and services to Bonchon restaurants.
Without specific details in the FDD, it's unclear how Bonchon franchisees handle payment processing or whether they are required to use a particular service. It is also not clear if Bonchon has a preferred vendor for payment processing services.
A prospective Bonchon franchisee should ask the franchisor directly about approved or preferred payment processing vendors, any associated fees, and integration requirements with the Bonchon system. Understanding these details is crucial for managing the financial aspects of the franchise and ensuring smooth transactions with customers.
