Obligations After Opening
During the operation of the franchised business, we will:
- (1) Furnish you with the field support services, supervision and/or assistance that we consider advisable through on-site visits, off-site sessions, telephonic, electronic or other communication modes. You may also at any time communicate with our headquarters for consultation and guidance with respect to the operation and management of your Bonchon Business. The timing of these services will be subject to the availability of our personnel. (See Franchise Agreement, Section 7.05)
- (2) Provide standard electronic accounting forms, other accounting forms and electronic reports, as part of our Manuals or otherwise, if necessary. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.06)
- (3) Approve or disapprove any advertising, direct mail, identification and promotional materials and programs you propose within 10 business days of receipt. If we do not respond within 10 business days, the material is disapproved. (Franchise Agreement, Section 10.02)
- (4) Furnish you with any specifications for required products and services. (Franchise Agreement, Section 8.08)
- (5) Sell you our proprietary products. See Item 6. (Franchise Agreement, Section 8.08)
- (6) Continue, if we determine to do so, to engage in the pricing activities described above in this Item 11. (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.07)
Advertising
Advertising Cooperatives
We will notify you in writing of the starting date and amount of your advertising cooperative contributions, if we form a regional Advertising Cooperative for your area. We will determine the area of each Advertising Cooperative based on an area that we consider likely to be able to advertise effectively on a cooperative regional basis. The Franchise Agreement gives us the power to require cooperatives to be formed, changed, dissolved or merged.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bonchon will furnish franchisees with field support services, supervision, and/or assistance that they consider advisable through on-site visits, off-site sessions, telephonic, electronic, or other communication modes. Franchisees may also communicate with Bonchon headquarters for consultation and guidance regarding the operation and management of their Bonchon Business. The timing of these services is subject to the availability of Bonchon personnel.
Bonchon also provides at least three trainers for six days during the Restaurant's opening to assist in on-site training and provide operational support for the first, second, or third Bonchon Restaurant. The franchisee is responsible for Bonchon's lodging, transportation, and food expenses. Upon opening the fourth Restaurant, Bonchon will provide one trainer to assist and guide in the opening, as long as the first three Restaurants are still open and fully operational. The franchisee will be responsible for training the restaurant staff and for Bonchon's lodging, transportation, and food expenses. The opening training and assistance will be scheduled upon notice of the scheduled opening date, and the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing any change fees or penalties incurred if Bonchon must cancel or reschedule the opening training and assistance after the request.
Bonchon will supply a franchise email address that must be used for all communications relating to or on behalf of the Bonchon Business.
