What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to implement a New Restaurant Marketing Plan. This plan outlines the advertising and promotional obligations for a period that starts one month before the restaurant's scheduled opening and continues for four months after operations begin.

As part of this plan, a Bonchon franchisee must spend a minimum total of $5,000 to promote their restaurant. This expenditure covers the period from one month before the restaurant's opening to four months after it opens. The New Restaurant Marketing Plan will detail these obligations.

Bonchon franchisees can request modifications to the New Restaurant Marketing Plan, but Bonchon has the sole discretion to approve or disapprove these changes. Once the plan is finalized and approved, the franchisee must execute it and fulfill all obligations. Bonchon may also require franchisees to provide proof of their expenditures under the New Restaurant Marketing Plan.
