What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, purchasing uniforms for a Remote Kitchen Restaurant is not currently required. However, this could change during the term of the Franchise Agreement, meaning Bonchon may mandate uniforms in the future.
The employee uniforms consist of an apron, T-shirt, and hat. The estimated initial cost for uniforms ranges from $485 to $750 for a Remote Kitchen Restaurant, compared to $1,553 to $1,752 for a Dine-In, Fast Casual, or Delivery and Carryout Only Restaurant. This lower cost reflects the smaller staff size of 13 to 17 employees for a Remote Kitchen Restaurant, versus 14 to 49 employees for other restaurant types.
