What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Initial Training Program and Partner Training Program may be held at the Restaurant Support Center in Dallas, TX, or at a Bonchon Training Restaurant designated by the company. The training programs are conducted approximately 10-20 times a year, or more frequently if needed, and last for about 11 to 20 days.

The Initial Training Program is mandatory for the franchisee or their Operating Principal (if they are involved in the restaurant's daily operations), as well as the General Manager, Manager, and Area Manager. If the franchisee or Operating Principal is not involved in daily on-site management, they have the option to attend either the Initial Training Program or the Partner Training Program before the restaurant opens. Each restaurant must have at least two fully trained managers who intend to work full-time.

Bonchon provides the Initial Training Program and/or Partner Training Program at no cost to the franchisee. However, the franchisee is responsible for any charges associated with training additional or replacement trainees, as detailed in Item 6 of the FDD. Additionally, all attendees must have a current Bonchon-approved nationally accredited food manager certification and must sign a Trainee Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement before attending the training program.
