You further agree to develop and operate the Bonchon Businesses in strict compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations of all governmental authorities; to comply with all applicable wage, hour and other laws and regulations of the federal, state and local governments; to prepare and file all necessary tax returns; to pay all taxes imposed upon you related to the Bonchon Businesses; and, to obtain and keep in good standing all necessary licenses, permits and other required forms of governmental approval required of you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, area developers must adhere to several governmental requirements. Bonchon area developers must operate their businesses in strict compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations from all governmental authorities. This includes complying with all applicable wage, hour, and other labor laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
Furthermore, Bonchon area developers are responsible for preparing and filing all necessary tax returns and paying all taxes related to their Bonchon businesses. They must also obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, permits, and other required forms of governmental approval.
Bonchon also requires franchisees to ensure their restaurant construction complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all other applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, building codes, and fire codes. Before beginning construction, franchisees must submit their final plans and specifications to Bonchon for approval and obtain written certification from their architect that the plans comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the ADA.
