The estimate in the table covers the purchase of the Computer and Point of Sale System and Other Technology, including the costs of one LED television screen that you are required to purchase and mount on the wall in your Restaurant to be used with the Loop Media System for entertainment purposes for your customers and any other items in the technology package listed as optional that you elect to include (such as, QSR KDS, security camaras, outdoor music or video, additional speakers and audio above the minimum recommendation) for your Restaurant. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase one LED television screen for use with the Loop Media System. However, franchisees are not required to purchase additional LED television screens beyond this initial one. The FDD indicates that franchisees "may (but are not required) to purchase additional LED television screens."

If a Bonchon franchisee chooses to purchase additional screens, the estimated cost of the Computer and Point of Sale System and Other Technology will increase. The need for additional point of sale devices, thermal printers, or digital menu boards can also affect these costs. The FDD notes that the cost differences reflect instances when additional point of sale devices or thermal printers are necessary for the configuration of the order counter and the kitchen and if digital menu boards are needed for your restaurant.

Prospective Bonchon franchisees should consider the potential benefits of additional LED television screens, such as enhanced customer entertainment or marketing opportunities, against the increased initial investment. It would be prudent to discuss the potential return on investment and optimal number of screens with existing franchisees or the franchisor before making a final decision.
