You may not maintain your own website or mobile application; otherwise maintain a presence or advertise on the internet or any other mode of electronic commerce in connection with your franchised Bonchon Business; establish a link to any website we establish at or from any other website or page; or, at any time establish any other website, electronic commerce presence or URL which in whole or in part incorporates the "Bonchon" name or any name confusingly similar thereto.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not allowed to maintain their own website or mobile application for their Bonchon business. Bonchon retains exclusive control over all internet and electronic commerce activities related to the Bonchon system. Bonchon may establish websites and provide a "click through" subpage for the promotion of the franchisee's business.

Bonchon reserves the right to establish and maintain all internet activities pertaining to the Bonchon system. Franchisees are required to provide updated content for their subpage on Bonchon's website. Bonchon also has the right to use these websites to offer Bonchon franchises for sale and exploit electronic commerce rights.

This policy ensures brand consistency and centralized control over Bonchon's online presence. Franchisees are prohibited from creating their own websites or any online presence that incorporates the Bonchon name. This restriction extends to social media pages as well.
