What exhibit to the Bonchon Area Development Agreement defines the Development Territory?

You undertake to own and operate the Bonchon Businesses listed in Section 6.01 of this Agreement within the Development Territory set forth by map or written description in Exhibit A of this Agreement. If we use both a written description and a map to define your Development Territory, you acknowledge and expressly agree that should there be a conflict between the written description and the map, the written description will control. Pursuant to the Franchise Agreements which this Agreement contemplates will be entered into between you and us, your right to operate a Bonchon Business will be limited to each of the Protected Territories (as defined in the Franchise Agreement) that we will grant you under the Franchise Agreement for each respective Bonchon Business that you obtain the right to develop hereunder.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit A to the Bonchon Area Development Agreement defines the Development Territory. The document also states that the Development Territory consists of a written description, map, or both. If there is a conflict between the written description and the map, the written description will control.
Bonchon grants the area developer the right and obligation to operate Bonchon Businesses within the Development Territory. The franchisee's right to operate a Bonchon Business will be limited to each of the Protected Territories granted under the Franchise Agreement for each respective Bonchon Business.
Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit A to fully understand the scope and limitations of their Development Territory. They should also inquire about the criteria Bonchon uses to define and adjust territories, and under what circumstances the franchisor might alter the territory.
