What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice, including a termination notice, must be in writing. Bonchon may deliver this notice to you personally, or through a recognized, documented overnight delivery service that provides proof of delivery or attempted delivery. Bonchon can also send the notice via electronic mail if there is third-party proof of delivery, including the date and time. The notice is considered effective on the date that delivery is first documented to have been attempted.
Bonchon will send any notice to the address listed on the first page of the Franchise Agreement unless you have provided written notice of a new address. Bonchon also retains the right to provide notice sufficiently in advance of any event to comply with state or other laws.
It is important for a prospective Bonchon franchisee to understand these notification procedures, as the timing of notices can have significant legal and financial implications. Franchisees should ensure their contact information is always up-to-date with Bonchon and that they understand the requirements for documenting delivery of notices.
