What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Bonchon Franchise Disclosure Document, there is no explicit deadline mentioned for a franchisee to furnish copies of inspection reports, warnings, citations, certificates, or ratings resulting from inspections of their Restaurant. However, the franchisee is required to obtain all required state, local, and other government certifications, permits, and licenses, and furnish copies of all such required permits and licenses to Bonchon before opening their restaurant.
Bonchon requires franchisees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and to maintain the restaurant in first-class condition and repair. This implies that franchisees must be prepared to provide documentation related to inspections and compliance as part of their ongoing obligations.
While a specific deadline isn't provided, it is reasonable to assume that Bonchon may request these documents periodically or in response to specific incidents or audits. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Bonchon the expected frequency and deadlines for submitting these types of documents to ensure compliance and avoid any potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
