What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before commencing construction of their restaurant, a franchisee must obtain all necessary permits, licenses, variances, and approvals. These pertain to building, occupancy, signs, utilities, and zoning.
These permits, licenses, variances, and approvals are those necessary to permit the construction and use of a restaurant. They are required by federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, or ordinances.
Bonchon also requires the franchisee to submit a complete set of proposed final plans and specifications to Bonchon and receive written approval before registering them with any governmental or quasi-governmental agency or beginning construction. Bonchon's approval will be based on compliance with their standards for new restaurants.
