What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bonchon's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the standard initial franchise fee is $35,000. This fee is paid in full when the Franchise Agreement is signed. Bonchon considers this fee fully earned upon execution of the agreement. It is non-refundable under any circumstances and is not tied to any specific products, services, or assistance provided by Bonchon.

However, the initial franchise fee may vary depending on the number of Bonchon Businesses the franchisee commits to developing. For the first five Bonchon Businesses under a development schedule, the initial franchise fee is $35,000. For businesses six through ten, the fee decreases to $30,000. For eleven or more businesses, the fee further decreases to $25,000.

Notably, if a franchisee is part of the 2025 Development Incentive Program, the initial franchise fee is amended to $20,000. This lower fee is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the Franchise Agreement Rider for the program. This incentive is granted based on negotiations initiated by the franchisee and is for the franchisee's benefit.

For franchisees entering into a Successor Term agreement, the successor term fee is 25% of Bonchon's then-current initial franchise fee. This fee is one of the conditions required to be met to be granted a Successor Term.
