What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a developer participating in the Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program must adhere to specific procedures regarding site submittal, review, and approval for each Qualifying Restaurant. Specifically, the developer must comply with Bojangles's current site submittal review and approval process. Additionally, the developer is required to execute Bojangles's standard form of Development Incentive Program Addendum to the Bojangles Opco, LLC Franchise Agreement. This addendum serves to formally reflect the incentives of the program.
This requirement ensures that all restaurant locations meet Bojangles's standards and align with their strategic objectives. By adhering to the franchisor's site submittal review and approval process, the developer helps maintain brand consistency and increases the likelihood of success for each new restaurant. The Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program Addendum legally binds the developer to the terms and conditions of the incentive program, providing a clear framework for both parties.
For a prospective Bojangles franchisee, this means understanding and following the franchisor's detailed site selection and approval protocols is essential. This includes preparing thorough documentation for each proposed site and being responsive to any feedback or requests from Bojangles during the review process. Failing to comply with these procedures could jeopardize participation in the Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program and potentially delay or prevent the opening of a new restaurant.
