What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the FTC's Franchise Rule allows Bojangles to disclose information regarding the actual or potential financial performance of its franchised and/or company-operated outlets if there is a reasonable basis for the information and if the information is included in the disclosure document.
Bojangles can also provide financial performance information that differs from what is included in Item 19 of the FDD under specific circumstances. These circumstances include providing the actual records of an existing Bojangles outlet that a prospective franchisee is considering purchasing. Additionally, Bojangles is permitted to supplement the information provided in Item 19, such as by offering details about potential performance at a specific location or under particular circumstances.
It is important to note that, other than the financial performance representations included in Item 19, Bojangles does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. If a prospective franchisee receives any financial performance information or projections of future income from other sources, they are advised to report it to Bojangles's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This ensures that any unauthorized or unsubstantiated claims can be addressed and verified.
