What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Managing Owner must attend and successfully complete the initial training program offered by Bojangles. This training is mandatory, and the Managing Owner must complete it to the satisfaction of Bojangles. If a replacement Managing Owner is appointed, they must complete the initial training program within 180 days of their appointment.

Bojangles provides instructors and training materials for all required training programs. However, the franchisee is responsible for all other expenses related to the training, including transportation, lodging, meals, and wages for the Managing Owner and other employees attending the training.

In addition to the initial training program, Bojangles may require the Managing Owner and other employees to attend additional courses, seminars, and training programs from time to time. The franchisee will be responsible for the costs associated with these additional training programs as well, including any training fees charged by Bojangles.

This initial training program ensures that the Managing Owner is well-versed in the Bojangles system, including procedures and techniques for operating the restaurant. This helps maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. The ongoing training requirements also ensure that the Managing Owner stays up-to-date with any new developments, techniques, or improvements in restaurant management, food preparation, sales promotion, and service.
