What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each member of a Designated Market Area (DMA) is required to submit reports during any advertising period. These reports must reflect the gross sales of each Bojangles restaurant owned by the member that is located in, or has been transferred to, the DMA.

The specific form of these reports and the due dates are determined by the chairman of the DMA. This allows for flexibility within each DMA to tailor the reporting requirements to best suit the needs and capabilities of its members. The DMA can also designate another person to receive these reports instead of the chairman.

This reporting requirement ensures that the DMA has accurate information about the sales performance of its members' restaurants. This information is likely used to calculate advertising contributions, assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and make informed decisions about future advertising strategies. Franchisees should be prepared to track and report their gross sales accurately and in a timely manner to comply with these requirements.
