Is Bojangles obligated to provide any supervision, assistance, or services beyond what is outlined in the Franchise Agreement for the ongoing operation of the restaurant?

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bojangles is not obligated by the Franchise Agreement or any other agreement to provide supervision, assistance, or services for the ongoing operation of the restaurant beyond what is already outlined. However, Bojangles will provide such training programs from time to time as they deem appropriate. They will also provide advice and consultation in connection with the operation of the Restaurant and new developments, techniques, and improvements in areas of restaurant management, food preparation, sales promotion, and service which may be provided by them.

Bojangles may offer this advice by sending employees or representatives to the restaurant, providing publications, written materials, electronic learning content, or videos, or by conducting meetings or seminars. Additionally, Bojangles will provide advice and assistance in local advertising and, at the franchisee's expense, promotional materials for local advertising.

Bojangles will also develop advertising materials and direct advertising programs for the Marketing Development Fund, retaining sole discretion over the creative concepts, materials, and media used in such programs. They will also provide revisions periodically of the contents of written operating materials as deemed advisable and perform inspections of the Restaurant, and evaluations of products sold and services rendered, as they deem advisable.

While Bojangles is not contractually obligated to provide additional support, they do offer ongoing training, advice, and advertising assistance to franchisees. Franchisees should recognize that the level and type of support can change at Bojangles's discretion, and they should factor this into their business planning.
