What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, once a franchisee submits a site approval application, Bojangles has 45 days to either approve the proposed site or reject it, providing comments explaining the reasons for rejection.

Bojangles retains the right to reject a proposed site if the franchisee or its affiliates do not demonstrate adequate financial resources and operational readiness, are not in good standing under any agreements with Bojangles, or fail to adhere to Bojangles's manuals, policies, and procedures related to operational standards.

This 45-day review period is a crucial timeframe for franchisees, as delays in site approval can impact the overall development schedule and potentially lead to breaches of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should ensure their site proposals are thorough and meet Bojangles's criteria to facilitate a smooth and timely review process.
