What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Bojangles Franchise Disclosure Document, while it doesn't specifically mention gas shut-off valves, it does state that franchisees must comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. This would include any regulations pertaining to gas shut-off valves.

Bojangles requires franchisees to purchase and install all equipment as directed by the franchisor in the manual or in writing. This gives Bojangles the ability to mandate specific equipment standards. Franchisees are also prohibited from installing any equipment that doesn't meet Bojangles' standards without prior written consent.

Prospective franchisees should confirm with Bojangles what specific requirements exist for gas shut-off valves to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and Bojangles' standards. It would be prudent to ask about the specific types of valves required, their placement, and any required maintenance or inspection schedules.
