What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a developer is ineligible for the Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program if they are already participating in another incentive program. Specifically, to be eligible for the Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program, the developer may not participate in any other incentive programs under any other development agreements with Bojangles or its affiliates, nor receive any other monetary concessions from them.

This condition ensures that Bojangles' incentives are targeted towards new development and not layered on top of existing benefits. This prevents franchisees from 'double-dipping' on incentives and allows Bojangles to manage its incentive budget more effectively.

For a prospective franchisee, this means carefully evaluating all available incentive programs and choosing the one that provides the most significant benefit, as they cannot combine multiple programs. This also highlights the importance of fully disclosing any existing agreements or concessions with Bojangles during the application process to avoid potential disqualification from the Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program.
