Bojangles Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

We sponsor a Franchise Advisory Council ("Council") which advises us on various matters. We appoint the majority of members of the Council from corporate staff and four franchisees appointed by us. The Bojangles Franchise Association may appoint four of the Council's members. Except as appointed by us or the Bojangles Franchise Association, franchisees do not have a right of membership or right of direct participation in the Council.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Advisory Council advises Bojangles on various matters. The majority of the council members are appointed by Bojangles from its corporate staff, with an additional four franchisee members also appointed by Bojangles.

An exception to this appointment structure is that the Bojangles Franchise Association may appoint four of the Council's members.

Outside of these appointments by Bojangles or the Bojangles Franchise Association, franchisees do not have a guaranteed right to membership or direct participation in the council. This means that a franchisee's involvement in the advisory council is contingent upon being selected by Bojangles or being appointed by the Bojangles Franchise Association. Franchisees who are not selected have no direct input into the council's advisory role.
