What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Bojangles Franchise Disclosure Document states that franchisees must purchase and install approved technology equipment, components, and software. This includes POS terminals and receipt printers. However, the document does not specify the exact brands or models of POS terminals and receipt printers that Bojangles approves for use in its restaurants.

Bojangles requires franchisees to purchase all equipment, including technology, from suppliers who meet the franchisor's standards and specifications. These suppliers must demonstrate the ability to meet Bojangles' current standards, have adequate quality controls, and reliably supply the franchisee's needs. All suppliers must be approved in writing by Bojangles.

If a franchisee wants to purchase equipment from an unapproved supplier, they must submit a written request to Bojangles for approval. Bojangles has the sole discretion to determine whether to approve the supplier. Therefore, a prospective franchisee should directly ask Bojangles for a list of approved POS terminal and receipt printer brands to ensure compliance with the franchise agreement.
