What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bojangles franchisees must purchase and install specific equipment, including technology, that Bojangles directs in its manual or in writing. Franchisees must get written consent from Bojangles before installing any equipment that has not been previously approved as meeting the brand's standards and specifications. This would include headsets for the drive-thru.
To ensure quality and consistency, Bojangles requires franchisees to purchase all equipment, food items, ingredients, and supplies from approved suppliers who meet the brand's standards. These suppliers must demonstrate the ability to meet Bojangles' current standards and specifications, have adequate quality controls, and reliably supply the franchisee's needs. The suppliers must be approved in writing by Bojangles.
If a franchisee wants to purchase products or services from an unapproved supplier, they must submit a written request to Bojangles for approval. Bojangles has the sole discretion to determine whether to approve the supplier. Therefore, prospective franchisees should ask Bojangles for a list of approved headset brands and suppliers during their due diligence.
