What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bojangles's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are multiple addenda that can be attached to different agreements. One addendum is the "Equipment Reimbursement Incentive Program Addendum", which modifies the "Bojangles Development Agreement". This addendum outlines the terms and conditions under which a developer can receive benefits from the equipment reimbursement incentive program. To be eligible, the developer must meet specific criteria, such as signing the Development Agreement by a certain date and developing a minimum number of new restaurants.

Another addendum is related to the "Bojangles Express Franchise Agreement". This addendum is required for franchisees in specific states like New York and Minnesota. It integrates into the Express Franchise Agreement and addresses state-specific legal requirements. For instance, the New York addendum ensures compliance with the New York General Business Law, while the Minnesota addendum protects the franchisee's rights regarding the use of proprietary marks.

Additionally, there is a general "Addendum to Franchise Agreement" that can be attached to both the standard Franchise Agreement and the Renewal Franchise Agreement. This addendum typically covers specific terms, such as the exclusive beverage supplier, and states that its terms control in case of conflict with the main agreement. These addenda ensure that franchisees comply with specific requirements and receive necessary protections based on their location and agreement type.
