You must open your Center to the public within two (2) years after the Effective Date.
We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, grant you an opening date extension period; provided however, that (i) you must request an extension at least 30 days before the expiration of the initial two-year opening period; and (ii) the extension period or periods shall under no circumstances exceed an additional two (2) year period.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally required to open their center to the public within two years of the effective date of the Franchise Agreement. However, Body Brain Center may grant an extension to this opening date under certain conditions.
Specifically, Body Brain Center has the sole and absolute discretion to grant an opening date extension. To be eligible for an extension, the franchisee must request it at least 30 days before the initial two-year opening period expires.
It is important to note that any extension period granted by Body Brain Center cannot exceed an additional two years. Therefore, even with an extension, the franchisee must open their center within a maximum of four years from the Effective Date.
