You must pay us an initial training fee of $10,000 before attending our initial franchise training program. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee of $10,000 is refundable only if the franchisee notifies Body Brain Center that they wish to cancel the franchise before the training begins. The FDD specifies that the initial training fee is non-refundable under any other circumstances. A separate $10,000 initial training fee is required for each person attending the initial training.

For a prospective Body Brain Center franchisee, this means that if they change their mind about opening a franchise, they must act before the training starts to receive a full refund of the $10,000 training fee. Once training commences, the fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal. This policy is relatively standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors often incur costs preparing for training sessions.

It is important to note that this refund policy applies specifically to the initial training fee. Other fees, such as the initial franchise fee, are explicitly stated as non-refundable under any circumstances, although Body Brain Center reserves the right to grant refunds at their discretion. Additionally, if a franchisee fails to successfully complete the initial training program, they must pay a retraining fee of $400 for each retraining session, which is also non-refundable.
