Membership Program

You are to participate in any membership program that we require from time to time. The membership program may include membership privileges for both Dahn Yoga and Body & Brain Centers. You must accept members at your Center according to the terms of the membership program (currently, if a member of another franchised or company-owned Body & Brain Center desires to switch the member's membership to your Center, you must accept the member at your Center). You agree to abide by all rules of the membership program that we specify in the Manual from time to time.

We previously offered a "Platinum Membership" program for Body & Brain Center customers that allowed customers to receive certain benefits and price discounts at all participating franchised locations. Membership also allowed the customer to attend classes at any Body & Brain Center and any Dahn Yoga Center they chose. Dahn Yoga previously offered a "Gold Membership" program that provided similar reciprocal benefits. Under the Platinum Membership and Gold Membership programs, the member paid the Body & Brain Center franchisee or Dahn Yoga Center (as applicable) an initial fee that covered the cost of their training for 1 year. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the rules of the membership program are specified in the Manual. As a franchisee, you are required to participate in any membership program that Body Brain Center requires, which may include membership privileges for both Dahn Yoga and Body & Brain Centers. You must accept members at your center according to the terms of the membership program, including accepting members who want to switch their membership from another franchised or company-owned Body & Brain Center to your location.

The FDD mentions a previous "Platinum Membership" program for Body & Brain Center customers and a "Gold Membership" program for Dahn Yoga, which provided reciprocal benefits. Although Body Brain Center no longer offers new Platinum or Gold memberships, franchisees are required to participate in these programs and comply with the rules and procedures for customers who maintain their Gold or Platinum Membership status. These memberships allowed customers to attend classes at any Body & Brain Center and Dahn Yoga Center. Members paid an initial fee covering training costs for one year, followed by a $10 monthly fee until cancellation. If a member primarily trains at a center different from where they initially purchased the membership, the new center may be entitled to the ongoing monthly fees and any remaining balance of the initial membership fee.

As a Body Brain Center franchisee, it is crucial to understand and adhere to the rules of the membership program as outlined in the Manual. This includes accepting members from other locations and complying with the terms of the Platinum and Gold membership programs for existing members. Failure to comply with these rules could result in penalties or loss of franchise rights. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Manual and seek clarification from Body Brain Center regarding any aspects of the membership program that are unclear.
