What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the expenses related to training programs, workshops, and conferences. Specifically, the franchisee must pay for all food, lodging, and travel costs incurred by their owners and managers while attending any training program, workshop, or conference offered by Body Brain Center.

In addition to covering these costs, the franchisee must also pay an initial training fee of $10,000 for each person attending the initial training program, whether before or after signing the Franchise Agreement. This fee is due before the training begins. If someone fails to successfully complete the initial training and needs to retake it, a retraining fee of $400 will be charged.

For optional periodic training programs or special training requested by the franchisee and agreed upon by Body Brain Center, a training fee of up to $150 per hour applies, payable as invoiced. If Body Brain Center travels to the franchisee to provide training, the franchisee must reimburse Body Brain Center for all food, lodging, and travel costs, also due as invoiced. Furthermore, attendance at national conferences may incur a conference registration fee of $100 per day per person.

This means that franchisees need to budget not only for the direct training fees but also for all associated travel and accommodation costs for themselves and their staff. These costs can accumulate quickly, especially if multiple training sessions or conferences are required or desired. Prospective franchisees should consider these expenses when evaluating the overall investment required to operate a Body Brain Center franchise.
