What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee purchases more franchises than they have owners, they must hire at least one individual manager to oversee the daily operations of any Body & Brain Center not managed by an owner. Even if the franchisee has enough owners, they may still hire a manager to assist an owner, provided the owner remains actively involved in the center's operations. A manager is only allowed to manage one Body & Brain Center.
Each manager must meet certain requirements to be approved by Body Brain Center. First, the manager must be approved by Body Brain Center, which may require the manager to visit their headquarters for an interview. Second, the manager must successfully complete the initial training program, for which the franchisee must pay Body Brain Center a training fee. Finally, the manager must sign a Brand Protection Agreement before attending training.
The initial training program consists of approximately 30 hours over 5 to 9 days. The training program will take place at a retreat in Sedona, Arizona (currently Sedona Mago Retreat Center) or Ellenville, New York (currently Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference) or another training location Body Brain Center selects at their discretion or in an online format. If a franchisee plans to hire a manager to operate one of their Body & Brain Centers, they must pay a separate $10,000 training fee for each such manager who attends the training program.
