To maintain the uniformity and high standard of goods and services provided by Body & Brain franchisees or to modify these goods or services, we may, but need not, offer periodic additional training programs for franchisees. Attendance at these training programs is optional. You may also request that we provide optional additional training. We are not required to provide this training, but may do so in our discretion.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, Body Brain Center is not required to offer periodic additional training programs for franchisees. However, Body Brain Center may choose to offer these programs to maintain uniformity and high standards or to modify goods or services. Attendance at these training programs is optional for franchisees.

Additionally, franchisees may request optional additional training from Body Brain Center, but the company is not obligated to provide it. If Body Brain Center agrees to provide the requested training, they may charge an Additional Training Fee of up to $150 per hour. If Body Brain Center travels to the franchisee's location to provide the training, the franchisee must also reimburse Body Brain Center for food, lodging, and travel costs.

Franchisees are also required to attend the Self-Enrichment Workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training provided by BBYHC, as discussed in Item 5. These programs have separate costs: the Self-Enrichment Workshop costs $150 to $400, Qualified Instructor Training costs $2,800 to $3,900, and Leadership Training costs $7,500 to $9,400. These programs must be completed before applying for the franchise.
