What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an unaudited financial accounting of the advertising fund's operations will be prepared annually. This accounting will be made available to franchisees upon request. This means that Body Brain Center franchisees can expect to receive a yearly report detailing how the advertising funds are being managed and spent.
This annual accounting provides a level of transparency, allowing franchisees to stay informed about the financial aspects of the advertising fund. While the accounting is unaudited, it still offers a general overview of the fund's activities. Franchisees can request this report to review the allocation of advertising dollars and assess whether the fund is being managed in a way that benefits the entire Body Brain Center franchise system.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that the advertising fund is not a trust and Body Brain Center has no fiduciary obligations in its administration. While an annual accounting is provided, franchisees should consider asking for more detailed information or clarification on specific expenditures if needed. Understanding how the advertising fund is managed can help franchisees make informed decisions about their investment and marketing strategies.
