What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program does take place in Sedona, Arizona. Specifically, the initial training program will take place at a retreat in Sedona, Arizona (currently Sedona Mago Retreat Center) or Ellenville, New York (currently Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference) or another training location Body Brain Center selects at its discretion or in an online format. Body Brain Center intends to offer the initial training program at least 4 times per year.
Furthermore, the Body Brain Center FDD specifies that certain subjects are taught in Sedona, Arizona, or Ellenville, New York, or at another location selected by Body Brain Center, or in an online format. These subjects include Accounting (1.5 hours), Center Opening (2 hours), Solar Body (1 hour), Merchandise Intro (1 hour), Intro Session (4 hours), Regular Class (6 hours), Open Workshop (1.5 hours), Private Session (1.5 hours), Aura Reading (1 hour), Consultation (1 hour), Member Care (2 hours), Orientation / Reflection/ Sharing (1 hour), Background of the Franchisor (1 hour), Center Management (1.5 hours), Monthly Plan / Goal (1 hour), and Marketing (1.5 hours).
In addition to the initial training program, each owner is required to attend the Self-Enrichment Workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training provided by BBYHC. The Qualified Instructor Training and Leadership Training usually take place in Arizona or New York. The Self-Enrichment Workshop is held from time to time in numerous cities across the country, usually near a Body & Brain Center.
Prospective franchisees should confirm the exact location, schedule, and format of all required and optional training programs with Body Brain Center prior to signing the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees are responsible for all food, lodging, and travel costs incurred while attending training programs.
