How much prior notice will Body Brain Center provide before modifying the manual?

We will lend you our Manual in text or electronic form for the term of your Franchise Agreement. The Manual may include, among other things, (i) a description of the authorized goods and services that you may offer; (ii) mandatory and suggested specifications, operating procedures, and quality standards for products, services and procedures that we prescribe from time to time for Body & Brain franchisees; (iii) mandatory reporting and insurance requirements; (iv) mandatory and suggested specifications for your Center; and (v) a written list of goods and services (or specifications for goods and services) you must purchase for the construction of your Center and the development and operation of your Business and a list of any designated or approved suppliers for these goods or services. All mandatory provisions contained in the Manual are binding upon you. The Manual is confidential and remains our property. We may modify the Manual upon 30 day's prior notice, but the modification(s) will not alter your status or fundamental rights under the Franchise Agreement. The Manual contains a total of 281 pages. A copy of the Table of Contents to the Manual is attached to this Disclosure Document as EXHIBIT "H".

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body Brain Center may modify the manual upon 30 day's prior notice. However, these modifications will not alter a franchisee's status or fundamental rights under the Franchise Agreement. The manual contains mandatory provisions that are binding upon the franchisee and includes specifications, operating procedures, and quality standards for products, services, and procedures that Body & Brain prescribes from time to time.
The manual also contains mandatory reporting and insurance requirements, mandatory and suggested specifications for the franchisee's center, and a written list of goods and services (or specifications for goods and services) a franchisee must purchase for the construction of their center and the development and operation of their business, as well as a list of any designated or approved suppliers for these goods or services.
Since the manual is provided in either text or electronic form for the term of the Franchise Agreement, franchisees should stay aware of any modifications and updates to ensure compliance. The manual is confidential and remains the property of Body Brain Center.
