- 17.3 Changes to Intellectual Property.
We have the right to modify the Intellectual Property at any time in our sole and absolute discretion, including by changing the Marks, the System, the Copyrights or the Know-how.
If we modify or discontinue use of any of the Intellectual Property, then you must comply with any such instructions by us within 30 days at your cost.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Body Brain Center has the right to modify its Intellectual Property at any time and at its sole discretion. This includes changing the Marks, the System, the Copyrights, or the Know-how.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that Body Brain Center can make changes to its branding, operational methods, copyrighted materials, and proprietary information. If Body Brain Center modifies or discontinues any of its Intellectual Property, franchisees must comply with Body Brain Center's instructions within 30 days, and at their own cost.
This clause gives Body Brain Center broad authority over its Intellectual Property and requires franchisees to adapt to any changes made. It is important for a prospective franchisee to understand that the Intellectual Property they are initially exposed to may not remain constant throughout the term of the franchise agreement, and they will bear the financial responsibility for implementing any required changes.
