"Know-how" means all of our and our affiliates' trade secrets and other proprietary information relating to the development or operation of a Body & Brain Center, including, but not limited to, methods, techniques, specifications, procedures, marketing strategies and information comprising the System and the Manual.
"Manual" means our confidential operations manual for the operation of a Body & Brain Center.

6. OTHER FRANCHISOR ASSISTANCE
- 6.1 Manual. We will lend you our confidential Operating Manual (the "Manual") in text or electronic form for the duration of the Term. The Manual will help you establish and operate your Business. The information in the Manual is confidential and proprietary and may not be disclosed to third parties without our prior approval.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Body Brain Center Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "Manual" is defined in two places. First, Item 23 defines "Manual" as the confidential operations manual for the operation of a Body & Brain Center.
The second definition appears in Section 6.1, where the FDD states that Body Brain Center will lend the franchisee their confidential Operating Manual (the "Manual") in text or electronic form for the duration of the Term to help the franchisee establish and operate their Business. The FDD specifies that the information in the Manual is confidential and proprietary and may not be disclosed to third parties without Body Brain Center's prior approval.
This manual contains critical information for franchisees, and it remains the property of Body Brain Center. Franchisees must maintain its confidentiality and return it at the end of the franchise term.
