What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee purchases more franchises than they have owners, they must hire a manager for each center not managed by an owner. The franchisor may also allow a franchisee to hire a manager to assist an owner, provided the owner remains actively involved in the center's operation.

Before attending training, each manager must be approved by Body Brain Center, which may include an interview at their headquarters. The franchisee is responsible for paying the initial training fee for each manager. A critical requirement is that each manager must sign a Brand Protection Agreement before attending the training program.

The Brand Protection Agreement is designed to protect Body Brain Center's intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, know-how, improvements, and the System. The agreement defines terms such as 'Competitive Business,' 'Copyrights,' 'Franchisee,' 'Improvements,' 'Intellectual Property,' and 'Know-how' to clearly outline the scope of protection. This ensures that managers are legally bound to safeguard the brand's assets and confidential information.

This requirement ensures that individuals in management positions are committed to protecting the Body Brain Center brand and its proprietary information. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Brand Protection Agreement to understand its implications and obligations for their managers.
