What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Body Brain Center's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee of $10,000 is due in a lump sum before attending training. This fee is payable to Body Brain Center.

In addition to the initial training fee, franchisees must also budget for other training-related expenses. The Self-Enrichment Workshop costs between $150 and $400, Qualified Instructor Training ranges from $2,800 to $3,900, and Leadership Training costs between $7,500 and $9,400. These fees are payable to BBYHC before attending each workshop or training. Body Brain Center may collect and pay these fees to BBYHC at their option. Franchisees should also budget between $2,300 and $5,000 for training expenses such as food, travel, and lodging, which are paid to airlines, restaurants, and lodging facilities before and during training.

Prospective franchisees should note that the initial training fee is refundable if they notify Body Brain Center of their intent to cancel the franchise before training begins. Similarly, BBYHC will refund the training fee for the Self-Enrichment Workshop, Qualified Instructor Training, and Leadership Training if notification is given before training begins. However, if notice is provided within 21 days of the training, BBYHC may retain an administrative fee of up to $50. This refund policy is more favorable than some franchise systems, which may have non-refundable training fees or stricter cancellation policies.
